The Local Skills Improvement Plans, funded by the Department for Education, aim to change the way skills provision is delivered by ensuring employers’ voices are heard and their skills needs are recognised. Collaboration is key to the success of the Local Skills Improvement Plans and the team at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is leading on the delivery of the plan for our region, working with fellow employer representation groups, Local Authorities, skills providers and most importantly, businesses.
